Don't Panick Over Old News

I would like to share with you a link from Reddit that cleared up a lot for me about the surprising "new" items on the trading post. Things like the Personal Black Lion Merchant, Power Trader, Sealed Package of Snowballs, etc.

To quote the best explanation from that Reddit thread:

Unfortunately, these aren't anything new; rather, it seems to mostly be old items that accidentally got flagged for inclusion on the trading post, which is why they're just now showing up on the trading post scrapers. That number at the end of the URL is the Item ID, which counts upwards as new items are added (Halloween items, for example, are in the 3599x - 360xx range). The most recently-added item in this list is the Name Change Contract, which was first noticed around October 9th, and most others are significantly older.
The stat reset item was relevant back when attribute points were manually allocated, which would allow you to reset them. The Power Trader was probably designed at a time when the Trading Post had strict limitations. As for the "BWE Transform Weapons", they're clearly items intended for testing purposes - there's probably plenty of other similar items we aren't aware of.

So if you're panicking about what these Power Trader items are (we had a discussion about this on the forums on Saturday) there's nothing to worry about. If anything, it shows that Christmas will have a holiday event. But I guess we all kind of knew that already.

So yeah, no panicking over this news.

Regarding changes in the economy, if you look under the forums Markco's Crazy Thoughts, you can find a really timely tip I just wrote!

I can't access the post on Marcko's crazy thoughts, it just tells me I am not authorised. Any reason for this?

How many forum members do you have and how many new posts daily?

Also, by joining the forum are we able to discuss our ideas and problems with you directly?
