Buy Immediately: Rutabagas, Onions, Carrots, Garlic, Eggs

A host of cooking materials are falling like rocks because nobody needs food right now. Thanks in part to the scarlet buff that we all have in excess, and everyone working on other disciplines to get their back pieces, not many cooks are doing their thing right now. It's a matter of supply and demand, so when there's no demand and plenty of supply the price will drop.

I strongly encourage the purchasing of every cooking ingredient you see below its normal value. In particular...

Rutabagas, Onions, Carrots, Garlic, and Eggs.

Also... Grapes. People seem to think that the next Lion's Arch update will involve them. When word got out I told everyone on my email list and within a few hours the price had QUADRUPLED. There's no guarantee, but we're expecting "wine" to be part of a new recipe. Grapes make wine... so yeah there's a small chance they will be worth a ridiculous amount since there aren't many in the game right now. I have my doubts, but it's worth a little speculation.

Hey Markco, thanks for the wonderful blog and all the help you've given so far.

    What's your look on Rosemary?
It went from nearly 10 silver to like 80 copper and has a limited supply of like 70K, would this be a proper investment?

What is your basis for these items being lower than usual? I checked 3 of them on gw2spidy for a month long period and they all were about normal, or even higher than they had been normally within the last month. Especially today, they seemed to have spiked and then sharply went down afterwards.

I bought the rudabagas at like 12 copper, so I basically doubled my investment. Your mileage will vary as people get back into cooking and doing non LA related tasks.

Thanks for the response. I went and re-checked rutabaga, and you were right, there is quite a disparity there between the buy and sell. But the buy value is roughly the same as it was from a couple weeks ago -- looks like the sell value increased, which would indicate that chefs may be trying to do their thing, but there's not enough rutabagas to go around. I don't think this necessarily means the price will rise from where it is, but it does offer a good opportunity to flip to the chefs.

Your blogs are awesome, and the mailing blasts are just that...a BLAST! But the best has to be the forums. If anyone is reading this and hasn't joined and you like making money in the game, your doing yourself a huge disservice. That forum allowed me to find so many ways to make gold i never thought of.
Thank you again! Lets make more gold all!

    1) If we start talking about items that are much cheaper than before - also give us your view about wood being like ~30c instead of up to 1.5-2s.
    2) Can we add you to the friend list and contact you right in the game online? I meant your account name.
